The personalities being built up around NIL reporting is getting ridiculous.

These guys act like they are all-knowing savants.
You can report on recruiting without acting like a dick. Both of these guys are reaching cringe level of fandom right now.

You can always supplement the intel that Billy, Brent, and Vander provide, but the moment you start acting like you are "in" with the players, it's offputting. That's all

These Twitter/Instagram recruiting "insiders" always make me laugh. Get out of your parents' basement and get a job. There is no way they can generate any measurable amount of income doing that.

That being said, the one piece of recruiting info I do know to be 100% fact is that this AggiesToday kid is not a recruiting insider other than as a college kid tries to befriend a bunch of high school athletes in hopes they will tell him things. I know that's basically what goes on a bigger "recruiting insider" level as well but he takes it to extreme. I have one connection to 1 player who showed me how this kid got his number somehow and was hammering him with texts. 50+ a day trying to get some info. It came off as extremely weird and desperate.

All things "recruiting" is dumb, especially since there's literally zero guarantee the recruit will even pan out, much less be at the same school next year. I guess kudos to the OGs that monetized the hype surrounding the Signing Day of old, but today's recruiting 'gurus' are an absolute joke, especially those that do player evaluations. They have zero professional experience (no NFL or collegiate credentials in that role), & every hyped recruit it seems is a victim of the circle-jerk that goes on with these gurus (who likely didn't participate in a single play of competitive sports).

I admit I fueled this field of collegiate sports, as the old Signing Day was one of my favorites; however, A&M's 2022 class broke me, and now I really DGAS anymore.

It was Taylor Hamm that followed Steven Parker, a safety recruit out of Oklahoma, into the bathroom to ask him about how his recruiting visit went here. We may have been favored to land him until this happened. He ended up signing with OU. I believe Hamm got on the coaching staff's **** list after that happened.

I've got news for you. These days, entire world of sports is being run 99% by people who never played the game at any meaningful level. And it's been going on for awhile.

I'd say AT has made it enough to be trolled by others. That's a nice step up.

But, yea, how is the recruiting industry even viable anymore? Texags makes sense, it seems to be extremely diverse, but people who are nearly 100% recruiting.... I don't get it anymore.
