That's assuming he'd stay as his DC here, after being turned down to be head coach. I don't think he would have.

Did you watch the Orangemen? The defense was not good, the last game against Miami is an example.
Pitt ran all over that D.

Robinson took a demotion, moved to a school that does not attract D players, and lost his recruiting base.

His value would be higher by staying at A&M. HC job in five years just based on SEC experience and recruiting base. He flushed it away, and got exposed in year 1. If he is smart he will bolt out of Syracuse fast.

Nice guy took bad advise.

Yeah, that decision still baffles me. He was the one bright spot under the Dumbo fiasco.

Robinson is an elite recruiter. That job will be MUCH more difficult at Syracuse going forward. He already cashed in on his parting gift from A&M. Not saying he can't succeed but we will see.

Probably true but two their offense statistically was significantly better than their defense.

He wasn't good at Syracuse last year but it's year 1 so it's too early to say for sure.

I understand SU's head coach is Robinson's friend. I watched about 10 minutes of SU football this year and the HC put on a show…cussing out an offensive coach relentlessly the entire time because he substituted a RB that fumbled in the red zone. I don't know why anyone, including EJ, would want to work for that asshhat.
