Still would have been perfect to abstain to get 13-0.

We voted yes. End of story. To attempt to add an asterisk to it is the typical Aggie obsession with the moral victory.

Well, Kirby finally gets it and soon, the rest of the conference will, too.

t.u. is poison, a disease that has killed two conference and everywhere they go, they spread arrogance and an entitlement that is not deserved.

Red is dead. I did not know him personally but I knew a handful of people that despised the guy when they had to do business with him. Some were contractors who got stiffed. We bought a Genesis from one of his dealerships and we still can't get over how bad their service is in San Antonio.

Georgia seems to be already pissed off with tu and Snakey's crap

Let us take a lesson from Kirby. When tu pushes their weight around, we just need to beat them and shut them up. Stop the BAS

A&M should lobby the SEC to replace Sankey with Brett Yormark. Dude is legitimately mobbed up (married a Gotti or some such family member of the mafia) and HATES Texas. No idea whether he can conference commissioner himself out of a wet paper sack, but he's probably what y'all are looking for.

Even after decades of crap, I'd be good if it could just be an impartial game.

The last 30 games between A&M and Texas have been 15-15.

Doesn't mean it's been impartial.

Here's the longer video, where Sankey is just standing there awkwardly and then thanks Texas. Good for Kirby!

Not sure what Kirby is referring to.

Georgia road games:
week 3 - @ Kentucky
week 4 - OFF
week 5 - @ Bama

week 8 - @ tu
week 9 - OFF
week 10 - home vs Florida
week 11 - @ Ole Miss

then they finished the season with 3 home games followed by playing tu in SEC Championship in Georgia (Atlanta).

I don't see anything out of the ordinary.

The good thing about the SEC is just about every institution has legitimate brand power and investment in the sport. Bama, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Oklahoma, LSU, Auburn, A&M aren't going to sit around and let sip get preferential treatment. Check social media, these fan bases are done with that crap. Sankey only has the power given to him by the member institutions

Yep and it includes getting dominated over the last 15 games as well. But at least we were kicking their ass in the 80s and early 90s

We're 4-11 in the last 15.

I'm sorry to interrupt, but I've got to understand: why do people write like this? It is NOT persuasive. It looks silly, if not stupid.

"I like what he said, and he's right!" Don't mean to sound preachy or whatever, but this isn't an active/passive voice or other technical grammar/Strunk & White issue. It is almost the level of ebonics and it is a habit borne out of poor web/pop culture/meme crap.

You can, of course, write whatever the hell you want, but then again, so can I. Carry on.
Because I love that he's publicly ripping Sankey while I'm also laughing that it's Georgia of all schools that is whining about scheduling.

It's called intellectual honesty. You can like or dislike something while acknowledging the reality and hypocrisy of the situation.

You can interpret others posts any way you want. It doesn't mean you understand what they are saying or avoiding coming across like a fool.

Carry on.

Correct. And I'd also like to add that swearing is evidence of a weak mind trying to express itself forcefully.

The horrible schedule being played again with opposite home teams is crazy. Let's go to 9 conference games and a fair and balanced 3/6 format in 2026. No more delays.

Sips haven't experienced a tough SEC schedule and won't in 2025 either.

We were 11-2 beating Bama year 1 in the SEC and also beat the Big 12 champs in the Cotton Bowl. Plus a Heisman winner and a final top 5 ranking. Tu fans think they accomplished something unique. Nope.
I completely agree with you. It's time to implement a 9-game SEC schedule with a balanced 3-6-6 format. I think the 2026 SEC schedule might have us playing Georgia at Kyle Field for the first time ever and Kentucky at Kroger Field for the first time since 1953.

The problem with 9 games is that it gives everyone one more chance to lose to each other and miss the playoffs. Right now it looks like the SEC needs easier games to stay at 2 or fewer losses.

That is true. I am one of those fans who prefers 9 games want 9 conference games and 1 nonconference Power 5 game for 10 games against Power 5 opponents. A 9-game conference schedule means an uneven number of home and away conference games, but that can be mitigated. In years we have 5 away conference games, we can get an extra home game against a Power 5 nonconference opponent. Likewise, in the years we have 5 home conference games, we can play a Power 5 nonconference opponent on the road or at a neutral site. Either way, I would like 5 home games against Power 5 teams every year, which would mean 2 cupcake games instead of 3 for season ticket holders.

If we stay at 8 conference games and one Power 5 nonconference opponent, I hope we can play all our cupcake games before November. That can be done by delaying SEC play until Week 4. I hate how the SEC schedules cupcake games in the second to last week of the regular season. I understand that the SEC schedules these games to rest for rivalry week, but that often means a cupcake opponent is the final home game for us and other SEC schools. For example, we played Western Carolina in 2015, New Mexico in 2017 Prairie View A&M in 2021, and Abilene Christian in 2023 as our final home games. Assuming we play Texas in Austin in our 2025 season finale on 11/29/2025, our final home game will be against Tarleton State on 11/22/2025. The cupcake games should be played before November because we should play a conference opponent in our final home game every year.

If we had gone to the SEC one year later than we did, we would have at minimum, played for a national championship that year. I think we would have won it so its not the put down you think it is.

Texa has to go to Athens next year. Looking forward to Kirby giving it to Sark for a 3rd time in a row.
