Mike Bobo's offense couldn't even get one yard on first down. Mike Bobo apparently did not learn from Colin Klein's repeated mistakes of running up the middle into the teeth of the Texas defense.

Running on 4th &1 on your 42 yard line is just dumb. Get a 1st down still means you need more yards even for a field goal. If it was texas 42, it is a different decision.
