If it makes you feel any better, neither of you have any clout with me but especially Vander54 since he is "new" to this site but not as new as you are :-).

Honestly though this team was not that good this year and got lucky with a few wins but there were plenty of warning signs that some sunshine pumpers chose to ignore. My guess is we will lose 4-5 games next year too and people will continue to say "wait until next year" or the coaching staff just needs more time to get their players in the system. It's the same thing that has been said since 1998 when we last won anything of significance.

I walked away and intended to never come back. If you want it to stay that way, tell onionman, phone bill, Aggies2009 and all of my biggest fans to not call me out anymore and I won't come back.

There is something absolutely insidious about or program. For example, how is it even possible that we have not had a single even remotely decent QB at this school since Manziel? NOT A SINGLE ONE! Despite buying five stars from all over the nation. Not a single one has done anything here? Start there, then keep peeling back the onion and it will start to make sense.

For starters it helps to develop a qb. Mond had a pretty good year his senior season. Marcel will get there too, but you guys are expecting Johnny football to show up or cut bait. He's not showing up on any college football team. We've not been good at qb due to injuries and a complete unwillingness to stick with, and develop a starter. Look at tu for example. The fanbase wants arch manning so bad, but sark is sticking with his guy and making the playoffs again.

You are exactly correct. That's EXACTLY what it is. Our culture and cult like obsession with our school that absolutely PROHIBITS anything critical from ever being said breeds mediocrity. We are not cut throat or conniving, we just want people to like us. This season's baseball team was the only remotely successful season we've had in men's athletics since prohibition…and all it took was tu's conniving, cut throat coach to get us there.

Notice how no one argues about results or correct predictions? Just histrionics and name calling? Our fanbase is not willing to make the changes necessary to ensure a solid football program, so onward and downward we continue to go…

If caring about beating your biggest rival more than a being a championship team is considered pathetic, can you imagine how pathetic you would have to be to constantly post on your biggest rival's fan website pretending to be one of them?

Here is a post of mine, in "The difference between Sark and Elko" thread, speculating on our failures. While not well liked I didn't get any pushback let alone "immediate violence" (do you need a safe space?).

Here is another post of mine in a very brief thread, that is really just myself and another poster expressing our opinions, but regardless of the lack of popularity of the thread and my post, still I am being quite "contrary to the positive" without getting shouted down by my fellow Ags.

And one more, here is a post somewhat liked by other posters where I state we are a perennial 7-5, 8-4 team. While not a popular thread (i.e., going more than 1 page) I again did not receive any negative feedback.

So, what we have here is a failure to communicate. You two pathetic trolls are full of **** and nobody likes you. That's why you get the responses you do.

I was doing fine not posting here with you football geniuses who think a program that has literally won nothing in its entire existence is right on the cusp, but you keep calling me back. I haven't posted on this board since the day after the tu loss. Like I said I wouldn't. Not once. Then I get several DMs stating "hey, they're talking shi* about you in the zoo." So I come back to defend myself and the responses then become "see you lied, you can't stay away!!!!"

I don't think it's that. People don't like my posts because they hurt their feelings, but I'm not breaking any of the forum rules so I don't believe it would be fair to permaban me. Still, I had a loooong talk with staff recently and it was clear that they would prefer that I just stop posting in the zoo altogether because it stirs too many of you up. So out of respect, I said I would. If no one wants to have an honest, open conversation about our program, then that is fine. So if these posters don't want me to post here, then please stop calling me out. Love you guys.

People don't like your posts because you made idiotic claims like we will only win 3-4 games this season, then when we passed that in September, you made excuses about you being wrong and refused to eat crow, while continuing to complain about our program. Then you come on here beating your chest about you being "right" after any loss.

If you weren't such a constant ahole and showed humility, you would find people are much more agreeable to you.

A&M had a GREAT season (favored in every game but one and lost four times, but it's cause of the refs probably).

A&M is a GREAT program (haven't won a conference championship in 25 years, but that's cause of eSIPn probably).

But then we passed that, and it became apparent that the argument you made wasn't made in good faith. You didn't really believe that we were lucky, you just wanted to whine online and refused to admit you were wrong. And when that was pointed out, YOU started making ad hominems about how people are just obsessed with you, constantly setting up strawman (like your post above) and how anyone who engages with you is actually the reason we suck.

People who predicted 12 wins (especially after Moss went down) are just as big of idiots, if it makes you feel any better. The only difference is those idiots are fun dummies to engage with, while the dummies who predicted 3 wins are just miserable to engage with. Neither have any affect on the direction of our program, especially on this particular forum.

Agreed. There's a big difference from low expectations and just being negative. Low expectations is fine as long as you are willing to discuss and preferably have facts not juat opinions as to why. Just like elevated expectations be willing to discuss and bring support.
