I doubt he goes SEC. My guess is ACC or Big 12.

He should go to Georgia Tech.

I wish I knew the real story behind him transferring. There's more to this than a simple transfer, there's more here than meets the eye! I will admit that if I had an OC calling idiotic 4th down plays up the middle I'd transfer also.

That and a good OL.

He was benched twice this past season. Can you tell me of a time where that happened and a QB stayed? It would have been more surprising if he had stayed.

We all wish him the best in his next uni and bummed he didn't work out here.

Doubt many are surprised given how the season unfolded. As to him winning a Heisman somewhere, I doubt it. Something happened and it isn't good.

i wish him well wherever he lands. Hope he gets some good coaching to help him right the ship. A&M isn't the place for quarterback development. Maybe his next stop will be.

I'll bet money he lights it up at his next school. I hope he does

It's been disappointing to see all the rumors, criticism, mocking and second guessing from many on this site. Most who have likely never played football or other competitive sports and many who have not played at the collegiate level. But hey, everyone gets an opinion.

There are a lot of TexAgs posters who need to experience life; and get a look behind the scenes to see why people sometimes have setbacks. e.g. cancer, family loss, mental issues, stress, financial struggles, etc.

OU is going to run a version of the Air Raid after hiring their new OC, Arbuckle. Might be a good fit if they run the classic Leach style that needs an accurate passer more than a runner.

I'm struggling to believe he actually wrote that. He didn't appear great with words in interviews and this seems pretty well-written.

The post game walk video was sad but showed me more than this letter his appreciation for our school and our team. Wish it would've worked out here, but I wish him the best.

I doubt we will ever get an answer as to what happened exactly, I still put my money on some sort of headcase thing. Long term yips or something. Regardless, I wish him well in his journey and suspect he will make his name elsewhere. Sad he didn't work out here though.

Any kid from Cypress, TX who talks and acts like a sound cloud rapper isn't going to be destined for much success. Hope this is an eye opener in his life and he learns how to act like a professional. The football talent is there if he gets his head right.

The ridicule has been disappointing. We're talking about a guy that basically had his foot broken in half and showed up for spring practice every day with a limp so he could be prepared for this season. I could see the need to make a change but I'll always feel like it was a mistake to make the change permanent regardless of how well Reed was performing. And we rode it to a 1-3 finish while playing ourselves right out of a chance for the playoffs. I hope he finds a more appropriate offense and has success.
