The CFP expanded to make sure the Top 4 teams are in.
The Top 4 teams are somewhere in that 12 Teams.
The undeserving will be eliminated shortly!

The fact is they have reached a conference championship game and the playoffs before the Ags. I have been a die-hard supporter of A&M since the first game I attended in the 90s. There are no excuses at this point for 26 years of mediocrity.
The excuse is that the South West Conference died.

Texas A&M had established itself as the premier football school in the state of Texas generating 6 different 10 win seasons between 1980 and 1995.

Since the formation of the BIGXII in 1996 the A&M football program has only exceeded 10 wins in two seasons which were 1998 and 2012.

If I were the A&M AD I would seriously look at the ACC or BIGXII. I guess it comes down to priorities.

If your priority is $$$ then the SEC is the best choice.
If your priority is championship trophies......then I don't know if the SEC is the best option for that.
We have a 30 year sample size to see that the SWC breaking up was not good for Texas A&M.

When I tell the younger kids that A&M used to be great in football they don't believe me.

Our problem is not what conference we play in. The problem is the BEA (big ego ags) that call the shots in our programs. Until the old ct's
and BEA have minimal impact on decisions it is what it is.
Fight against the dictatorship of the federal bureaucracy!
