All of the pulled tickets for this game said "no standing".

There have been enough of these threads over the years that I have a hard time believing this actually happened.

I had season tix for 20 yrs from 93-2012. For the first few years, I could barely afford them even tho it was a relative bargain then. 1st deck North end 25th row. Our section rarely sat and was loud.

No one would ever have even thought of asking someone to sit. In fact, it was common to wait in the tunnel and make a dash to your seats between plays. If you didn't make it, you stood in the aisle and waited till the next play was over.

This was the kind of respect we had for fellow Ags.

Now, ya'll want the olds to yell, but you can't be bothered to stand?

I gave up my piss head privileges when I graduated and sat down so those behind me could see. And, no I don't yell like wild Hyenas, I graduated, you must not have!

alumni section. I watched him put his butt in the face of an elderly lady for an entire half before she finally left. Standing for good plays and a close series is one thing. Standing in front of others who can't stand for 3+ hours thinking you are being a "good Aggie" is not okay!

Well I guess I've been wrong for 45 years to stand, yell and support my Aggies... I don't stand the whole game, but for a tu game that hadn't been played for 13 of those years, I will be up and yelling. I guess you are saying I should be one of those old ags that sits quietly and watches the game.... Not going to do that.

Are you really not bright enough to realize that not everyone can stand for the entire game (or wants to stand the entire game)? If you stand, you ruin the view for those behind you. You think that is OK?

You wouldn't find it annoying if the guy in front of you stood up for an entire concert or professional baseball game?

No one said you have to be quiet (though fans can be annoying when they constantly yell stuff). How about just act similar to those around you?

This thread seems like a bunch of sips berating someone for daring to support the team. No indication the person some decided was a kid was not able bodied.

It's simple, you bought the ticket, stand when you want. But if no one in front of you is standing, might want to sit, it's a courtesy.

If I wanted to watch a game or concert for that matter and stay seated the whole time I certainly would not go. If I went I would not ask people in front of me to not stand. If I did I would not expect a kind response.

OP, what are you doing to support the team for the bowl game, drowning kittens?

OP needs to be reported to campus police immediately.
