No reason to slip. Slow down. Carefully bend over. Pick up ball. Worst case scenario is they recover it...which means nothing.



Bad take.

He is trying to make a play. It's beat of the moment, not like he had time to think about it and watch replays like you did. The ball was rolling towards the sideline, he was trying to get on it like he had been coached to. Clearly he slipped. The kid was TRYING to make the right play, he just slipped.

Lots of other things to be mad about. Pick on something else besides that play.

End of the day, the defense played a gutsy game. They made a bunch of mistakes in the first half. Texas made a bunch in the 2nd half. Either way they hung in there and gave the offense a chance.

This game has almost been as frustrating as 2011

Unreal to no-show against Texas after 13 years, and lose the opportunity to make it to Atlanta only for whorn to waltz in their first year

I know Jimbo always said "this is on the coaches"......... but this is on the coaches!!!! Horrible play call we ran it up the middle all night. We have a great running QB and that's what we get?....pitiful!

Neutral observer here. I get the play calling but #10 was NOT putting the ball down the field. Took off running or checked off to very short passing. Didn't seem to look for anything beyond 15 yards.

Is that on the coach or the QB ?
