Also, don't run it up the middle. Actually do something to counteract their aggressiveness up the middle.

It's just simply unbelievable. The field goal was the right call in the first quarter, and it was a right call in the fourth quarter, neither call was made by our multi-million-dollar-a-year staff. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of non-football coaches were screaming for one or both calls. This is why we are who we are. And will always be this way unless a once-in-a-generation talent decides to play for us at QB.

I give him credit for making the calls, but I do disagree quite vehemently with them.

You take the points in a rivalry game when offered


You don't take a timeout at this point on 3rd and 1 when they have zero problems running up the middle
