I've seen pitchers do this often...look unhittable one outing and then terrible the next several outings. But I rarely see QBs do this. So strange to see him look so great against Mizzou only to follow it up with very bad performances.
I know most on here have given up on him but I wouldn't give up on him....UNLESS he has already given up on the team....which is a possibility based on what we have seen.

Yeah I agree, the way he seems to be interacting with the team during this whole saga is becoming the biggest red flag. I know it's hard to become the back up but you gotta be hyped up for Marcel and cheering for the team and getting into huddles on the sideline.

I won't speculate on what might or not be going on with a kid. I will say, that a change of scenery would probably do him well, and he could very well turn into a special player down the road. He has all the tools if he can figure out how to put them together.

And Jimbo was gone for 9-10 months for Conner to work and get right with ball. Weird how Marcel isn't so messed up now.

All-time leading passer at A&M by over 1600 yards (obviously JFF is the goat and is No. 3 with just two seasons at the helm). Bucky could have played for 8 more years and not caught Mond, although he did outrush him by 400 yards in just 46 games to Mond's 47.

Ya man, amazing how hard he fell after that phenominal 276 yard 0TD game.
I'll take 18-22 all day long. He did what we needed him to do and that was keep drives alive and take care of the ball.

To be fair, Mond was a Sumlin-recruited QB and Conner is a Fisher-recruited QB.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think outside of the horrible locker room management, Sumlin had better performing QBs than Fisher did.
