University clarified

I know for a FACT, I know a lot of frat guys, Sae is not even a big enough chapter to pull 500+ tickets.

The university is involved there are multiple organizations under investigation including AMA, Ksig and more.

It will be released shortly SAE wasn't involved.

Bro believe whatever you want. Frats have rivalries, more likely another frat did it and blamed it on Sae, bc why wouldn't they if it's obviously this easy to get everyone on board with believing it.

Not saying you're right or wrong, but the SAE tailgate at Reed was pretty damn huge. Enough that it stood out to me. For the New Mexico State game.

Funny, but for real, in your opinion, what's a more likely scenario.

1. SAE pulled 500+ tickets with only 150 active members and then went on a troll account to tell everyone it was them to piss off the masses and make all the fellow students hate them.

Or

2. A different frat pulled 500+ tickets and then went online and said it was SAE who did it and everyone would believe it and now everyone hates SAE and they are in the clear.

500 is an absurd number.

About 150 active members, 70 or so got tickets to the game. Not all in one group either. 40 was biggest group. Then sub groups who pulled individually.
500+ is a feat only attainable by a large men's org like ama or a large frat like ksig or pike, doubt it was pike tho tbh

So…if you had 250 sports passes and $50K, what's the problem? Note that that guest ticket should be tracked and as far as I know can't be sold in second markets other than physically.

But they clearly underpriced this game like I said when Texas was admitted to the conference…

.My post was certainly in jest because the entire situation is a giant cluster **** and I think that falls on the Athletics department.

However, I think both are equally plausible scenarios

They may have 150 members but that doesn't mean they only pulled for non members. They knew ahead of time that they would be able to pull early with a large group. So it wouldn't be out of the question to mix in a bunch of non members.

Think of it this way:

Say a member takes his girlfriend's Sports Pass so they can sit together. But she wants her bestie sit with her so they grab hers too. Maybe the bestie wants to bring another friend or boyfriend so they grab them as well. That's now 1 member and potentially 3 other non members right there. If even half of the frat does you're almost at 400 people right there. Plus college "kids" are dumb (I. It would not surprise me one bit if they took to social media to brag.

I have no idea if SAE was involved but I think it's unlikely. They have denied involvement and said they pulled 40 tickets at 4:45pm on monday. Given the ongoing problems they've had related to hazing, I think its unlikely they would make this big of a **** up,

So what I'm hearing is all the guest passes were bought up but a couple of groups to sell.

Which sucks for the students that were going to buy a guest pass for a friend or sibling to the game.

I'm 21 yo in college, every guy that goes to A&M uses the word "bro" .

I'm an old SAE and this thread is so bad it doesn't even convince me.

There needs to be a rule that tickets can't be pulled in groups larger than 5 people. The people at the ticket office should never have allowed such large numbers to be pulled at one time.
