We've only scored over 40 twice: McNeese State and when CW destroyed Mizzou. I don't think 45 is coming this week

We were struggling to 40 against NMSU at home. Let's just score a TD a quarter and let our front 7 win the game.

It was 31-0 mid way through the 3rd and then we went dormant with the second team offense. We could have put 45 or 52 if we wanted, but what's the point?

Predicting we will score 45 points in a road game at Auburn is unrealistic for several reasons.

1. We have scored over 40 points just twice: 52 points against FCS McNeese State and 41 points against Missouri.

2. We have never scored more than 34 points in a road game. In our 3 road games, we scored 33, 34, and 20 points against Florida, Mississippi State, and South Carolina.

3. Auburn has not allowed more than 31 points, and that was a road game at Georgia.

4. Auburn has not allowed more than 27 points at home. Oklahoma needed a pick-six to reach 27 points. Cal and Arkansas each forced 5 Auburn turnovers but neither of them could score more than 24 points against Auburn.

5. The last time we scored over 40 points against Auburn was 2014 in a 41-38 road win on 11/8/2014. Since then, we have never scored more than 31 points against Auburn, home or away.

For these reasons, I am predicting a close 24-17 road win.

Not to mention Moss's injury avd relative lack of production of backups to Daniels against a low quality opponent. Though mitigated by QB and hopefully OL backup touches:
