I guess some of you didn't see Reed missing wide open receivers last Saturday. Klein isn't the problem. We still don't have a QB who's a good passer.
20/31 - 65% - 268 yds, 2TD / 1INT in 3 quarters. Nobody is perfect. But Reed looked decent and the ball was spinning out of his hand better than it had all year. One big miss on a wide open guy and one big mistake throwing off back foot at the end of the half. He's improving over all. And that was in a game where he could run all over them and was clearly directed to stay in the pocket and throw.

Not good. Even if Reed is the future, depth is needed. Klein's offense is too vanilla. Better strike gold in the portal.

With Owens and Moss injuries I'm not really worried about this year as the team has already met expectations. It will be hard to exceed them against Refs+Aub and Refs+tu...we are not winning either one of those games realistically with an offense that struggled to score 38 against NMSU.

The biggest issue going forward is recruiting w/our Big12 OC. We can't honestly expect to go portal for QB, RBs, and WRs this offseason. A coaching staff now sitting at zero 5-Stars and zero QB/RB/WR recruits is simply not getting the job done on any measurable level.

Dawgs, tu, Bama, Aub, Lsu, and Tenn all ranked ahead of us in 247 2025 recruiting and Ags have shown a better offensive product in conference play this year compared to 4 of those 6 teams ahead of them (including points scored). That means the coaches are not getting the job done in-house and on the phones with recruits and their families. Everyone has NIL so that's not a differentiator.

Our fanbase is so ****ing soft

Soft or stupid?
A little bit of A, a little bit of B........

against Refs+Aub and Refs+tu..
The refs aren't the issue with our sputtering offense. Refs aren't out to get us, despite the homers that say otherwise.

Try to flip Bryce Underwood, who's committed to LSU. He's #1 QB in the country. According to On3, he has a NIL value of $2.1M. LSU is getting ready to fall apart.

If it were only about the money, we would have been able to keep longstreet.

Afraid until we get elite WR talent no elite QB talent will want to come here

Unfortunately, you're correct. The sad fact is that kids are choosing other programs NOT because of money, but because of hype and supposed program prestige.
Ags aren't that "cool" right now- maybe with a win against Sark, Elko can retake flagship status in the state.

The chances that he plays meaningful games for USC are slight. Recruiting high school QBs is meaningless.

Maybe we can get him in round 2 or 3 or 5 of transferring.

He's going to USC because it's his dream school and he grew up a huge USC fan. When their QB decommited they made a move on Longstreet.
