A&M, if wins remaining 2 games. Just assume it's a lock for this discussion.

So does 2-loss Sips, 2-loss Tennessee steal a 5th spot for the SEC ? Or neither? I guess Sips wouldn't have a bad loss but not a good win. Tennessee has bad loss and good win.

lol. Because that was only a 4-team playoff. It's 12 teams now. Committee indicated they're not punishing a conference loser who'd be in the playoff otherwise. Unless maybe a 35 point blowout, I suppose.

If the defense tackles and doesn't give up the outside repeatedly, we will beat Auburn.

They're currently ranked #10. They only have Florida & Miss St. If they win, they're a lock based on that #10 ranking.

Tennessee is out of the CFB playoff with a loss tonight especially given a poor loss to Arkansas along with 3 to 4 SEC teams being higher ranked at the end of the season than Tennessee

Tennessee has a legitimate shot at being 5th in the SEC.

LSU and Missouri losing knocks a couple of teams out. It will take some figuring, but I'm not convinced that Volunteers are mathematically eliminated from SEC Championship. You're going to end up with multiple teams with 2 losses.

The sips could lose 3 and be a lock because the network wants their bandwagon fan base watching their tv sets…

No in being out with two overall losses. Did you notice why we are still in track to the CCG with two overall losses???

A&M on the outside. It is what it is.

Neither Texas nor A&M has a top shelf win. T+2 should be a play-in game if both teams win next week. The loser should be done unless they fall into the SECCG and win it. Texas has zero resume' without a win against us. Same is true for us.

Tennessee is a long shot to make the title game at best

Very unfortunate, the committee has really effed things up to start this year

The Aggies and sips are tied at 5-1 and Georgia is done at 6-2. Tenn, Bama and Ole Miss also have 2 losses. Teams with 3 conference losses are eliminated since Georgia is done at 6-2 and either A&M or tu will end up with less than 3 losses.

The simplest finish is if Bama and Ole Miss each loses one of their last 2 and Tenn loses at Vandy. I know a tu-Ga tie means Georgia goes but unsure about an A&M- Ga tie.

I think all of the 2 loss teams will win out and the loser of the A&M tu game will not go to Atlanta. If all 6 of these teams ends up 6-2, one or two of them will be screwed by the Committee. I just assume it's us and Tenn.

Ole Miss and Alabama ain't losing again so cross that off the very realistic options.

I'm not. We're playing Auburn at the wrong time of the year. Their QB is cranking it up, and AU is starting to show signs of life. Plus, they have SC's playbook to limit our offense. I already have a bad feeling about that game. I hope I'm wrong.

Their QB has sucked for two years. He lit it up against a horrible team.

They have Durkin for a DC. He will put in the 3-man front at the wrong time and it will cost them.

If y'all think we're jumping Tennessee in the rankings, you're funny. There are gonna be 6 one or two loss SEC teams now, and we're gonna be the lowest ranked out of all of them. I think we have to win the SEC championship to make the playoff.

Ranking does not equal playoff selection. All the automatic qualifiers will push teams down.
