Maybe 10-15%? Bigger upsets have happened, and this game is on the road against a team that really hates them.

Does anyone at tu even acknowledge the obscene amount of luck they've had thus far?

I don't have any sip friends so couldn't tell you

I'll be the first to admit that the schedule turned out to be easier for Texas than anybody thought, with both Michigan and OU sucking as bad as they do, but other than that, I haven't seen much luck. They played two and a half games with a backup QB, and lost their top two RBs before the season started. I think they're about where they should be in terms of W's and L's. But there aren't any easy outs the rest of the way so they better buckle their chin straps and get to work, or they're gonna finish 8-4.

Going into this season pretty much everyone on here thought the Texas schedule was a joke

Nobody thought Michigan would be anywhere what they've been the last couple of seasons

I pegged them for 5/6-losses in the preseason and I'm right on with that prediction

Going into this season I thought Texas had a 2 game schedule, maybe 3 with OU but they may be the worst team in the sec: Georgia and A&M are the only real teams on the Texas schedule and they will lose them both

The luck for Texas is getting a horrible OU team and a Michigan team that is a shell of its national championship winning self

Plus facing third string qb for Florida when they were just starting to play well and there are questions as to whether arks starting qb will play or be 100% if he does play

Those are all lucky breaks

Texas is a good team but they've been extremely fortunate in the scheduling department and have had luck with opposing qb injuries

Ark has won 2 straight and will make it 3 in a row vs the sips by winning the turnover battle with 3 picks. It really has no impact on our game since we still need to beat tu to get to the title game. But a demoralized tu is so much more fun to watch.

I doubt it. Pig has gotten nothing but worse as the year's progressed. But if they somehow manage to hang around in the 4th qtr this may be one of those games decided by the mystery call at the end a la BYU-Utah. Pig notoriously gets screwed on those. And we all know who always benefits

Yep. Common known fact now that they had political pull with the Dallas Morning News and fed them the information.

Weren't you the poster who predicted that the Ags would trounce Notre Dame 31-13 a couple of months ago?

One stat stands out.

Arkansas passing defense ranked 124th out of 133 teams.
Texas passing offense ranked 10th out of 133 teams.

But you never know.

Pigs have the worst secondary not just in the SEC, but arguably of any team in the P4 conferences.
AND their best cornerback is out again this weekend.

The game against the sips will boil down to whether the hogs defense can control the line, shut down the run game, and put Ewers under pressure. I personally don't think that it's that tall of an order considering the lack of week-to-week consistency for the sip o line and QB.

On the other end, hogs get their QB back and their best player at RB. They do not lack for skill players. Green can score from anywhere, but also make insanely dumb throws/ take sacks at any time.

I predict a close game with Petrino pulling out every stop (trick plays, etc.) after two weeks of preparation.
Have the sips winning on a last second FG.
Take Ark + points.

A halfback pass with Ja'Quinden Jackson against Texas almost seems too obvious but it would be fitting

40%. Pigs will play keepaway with their big RBs. Of Quinn turns it over 2+ i am calling it 28-21 in favor of bacon.

Their defense is really good in back and to edge but softer up the gut.
