How do you swing that? Nicely done Texas.
We get all 3 every year, they get none of them.

I know I know, beating a dead horse.

LOL, emphasis on this year. We played all 3 every year EXCEPT this year…and the reason we are not playing them this is year is??? Texas.

Quit your griping and look at our schedule.
We got an an incredibly favorable schedule this year too.
No Bama or Ole Miss (as you claimed we get every year), no Georgia or Tenn. In fact, we only played 2 teams in the top 1/2 of the SEC this year.

And don't look now- but we have a similarly easy schedule next year too.

This is a huge reach. We don't have them next year either.

How many years we been in SEC? Got an easy schedule this year? Oh my, call the feds!!!!

First year for Texas and it just so happens….give me a break.

Point is that Texas should have had an intro to SEC like we did and really, one that was better for college football. Season almost over and best win is Vandy. Let that sink in.

We are lucky we only play one of these 3 teams this year and next year. Most of the schedule setup was for preserving major rivalries, such as playing the Oklahoma-Texas Red River Rivalry in mid October, storylines, and reviving past conference games between Arkansas and Texas and Missouri and Oklahoma. I understand that the SEC had Oklahoma and Texas playing each other in rivalry week to allow Texas play Oklahoma in Texas and Texas A&M at the end of the regular season, but Oklahoma should not have gotten both LSU and Ole Miss. The SEC should have had Texas play Ole Miss and Oklahoma play Vanderbilt in their first 2 years in the conference because it would have created more parity and balance.

Doesn't make me think about Texas at all.

This makes me even more pissed off we didn't beat S. Carolina. They are a solid team especially at home but not a better overall team.

Yep

They should have had at least one more team with a pulse:

Vandy, Kentucky, Arkansas?

Come on

At least one of those should have been Tennessee or ole miss, heck even South Carolina

Compare their schedule to that of OU who came in with them and it's so obvious they were given favorable treatment at the expense of OU

Can't believe we are looking at 4 Big 10 teams in the playoffs. Who did IU and Penn State play this year?

and the SEC with its one or two teams will have more winas.

Really hate that Saban was not focused in the loss to MI last year. Now all those idiots think there conference is good.

Our entrance into the SEC was not anything crazy that "they" did to initiate us, like you seem to be insinuating. We were in the West. We played West teams. That's all there was to it. We did not play GA or Tenn. we drew a meh-Florida team. In fact, we have been very fortunate to not be scheduled against GA often in our first decade.

But, since you seem hell bent on seeing things that aren't there and somehow blaming them on tu, and then getting sensitive when someone points out the irony of our own soft schedule… I'll leave you to it. Have fun chasing those ghosts!

Ol Piss has been better than we have been....yest Ol Piss team WR/TE corps is 3X better than ours at the moment (and missing their top WR). Just physical, make catches, runs after catch, etc. vs. a top secondary...they were impressive.

LSU isn't great this year (don't know why media thinks they can lose Daniels and plug and play w Ness Head as over-ranked all year long). Now they got drubbed by Bama (game was never in doubt from the very 1st series) and our win is 'ok' (as our 'vaulted' defense was dominated for quite some time).

Mizzou is mediocre at best and needed a miracle in the last min of the game to beat a bad OU team. That win has lost all luster.

Happy that we are in the conf race talks, but we really haven't had a tough a sched. this year (should have beat ND and USCe).

Losing to USCe proves that point and on paper, it could get ugly vs tu for us (as not sure our DBs can hang w their WRs as tu's spread/quick throw offense means our DL isn't getting to ewers enough times).
