I'd suggest tempering the expectations… Unless our team has an answer for Moss' injury, beating both Auburn and Texas isn't likely. I'd place it at 30% probability

RB is the least of our concern. We have solid players at RB.
I know you're hellbent on proving Bisontis being out is our biggest issue.

Moss being out is more of an issue imo

Uh. No. In your scenario Texas would be a 2 SEC loss team and would own the h2h tiebreaker over us.

Now if they lose 3, then yes.
Wrong. H2H goes out the window in this specific scenario with five 2-loss teams. We win the tiebreaker over all of them because of conference opponent win percentage.

For real? Why does that seem wrong?

I stand corrected

If Arkansas wins next week we are in very good position. We would still need another Bama or LSU loss, or some unexpected upsets to help our conference opponentwinning percentage, but it is feasible at that point.

There's a scenario where texas losing to us actually can help them. Avoids the possibility of a 3rd loss in the SEC championship game

Losing to scarolina left our margin for error at basically zero

Bama isn't losing again in the regular season

Unless Tennessee beats Georgia bana will be in Atlanta as one of the teams

Where is the SEC simulator? It's possible. Bama beats LSU and then Georgia beats Tennessee. That would create a 6 team pileup for second place if A&M beats Auburn and loses to Texas. A&M would have tie breaker over LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee but not sure about Georgia or Bama.

If Arkansas and Florida win this weekend, we can sneak into SECCG even if we lose to Auburn.

Maybe you don't realize Auburn is 1-5 in the SEC this yr and Texas has not had to play anyone this yr and their best win is against Vandy. I say our chances are much higher than 30%. Got to be 90% chance we beat Auburn and 40 to 50% chance we beat Texas.

If both LSU and us win out, we will play LSU in a rematch in the SEC Championship Game. It would be sweet to beat Texas and LSU twice in the same season to become an 11-2 SEC champion.
This is not accurate, Tenn still only has one loss in the SEC. If they win out they are in no matter what, just like us. (Tenn doesn't play LSU). Tenn does still have to beat Georgia next week but again if they win out they are in.

Unless things get VERY weird, 6-2 isn't a possibility for us to make the CCG. For all intents and purposes, 7-1 is our only path.

Exactly why the S. Carolina loss was so big.

It was accurate yesterday when he posted it, but LSU did it win out.

Ole Miss owns some big tiebreakers now

That's what happens when teams teams like ole Miss and Tennessee play no one OOC. All you then have to do is finish in the top 4-5 in conference regardless of playing in the SEC championship game or not. SEC temporarily destroyed its own conference championship game

stop saying this dumb sht. Losing in the sec title game isn't going to hurt anyone, barring a 40 point blowout might affect us given our QB issues.

OOC has no bearing on SEC standings.

Stop being dumb and realize that the SEC title game MIGHT hurt us. It could mean a couple of things: 1) We don't get in to the CFP, and 2) If we lose and still make it in, that means we do NOT get a bye, but had to play an additional game for no reason...

It's just because you're still thinking about 2 teams comparatively but in a 3+ team tie you can't do that. Because if every team has some teams they beat and some they lost to h2h, how do you judge who is out first? Thats why head to head goes out the window unless it is conclusive (ie one team beat all the others in the list)
