Prob one of the biggest hits of the season just happened by UM DL on a RB.

What am I missing about Haynes not being able to throw the ball? He wasn't necessarily elite, but he wasn't bad. Why are the announcers acting like he sucks really bad?

Not to mention he's 5 for 5 on his passes with a TD.

I didn't really hear them bagging on him but not listening that closely.

Now 6 for 6 with a rushing and a passing TD.

GT using duel QB system to perfection.

If only…

He was too young and bit too small when he was here. Looks like he has put on some weight. Rooting for him to destroy Miami

Nearly a very serious head injury with another defender pulling his facemask up a second before and RB turns into a defender lunging near his head and flattening him and slamming his helmet-less head back on the ground.
Targeting was called instead of the facemask. I guess you only get 2 penalties if it's a late hit after the player is down.

Personally wasn't a T Santucci fan when here (as every time I met him, he seemed like he didn't like being at A&M for some reason....may be due to JF as a HC), but he's doing wonders with GT Def in this UM game.

He just hasn't been consistent with their Def all year long (spurts).

Why in the world did GT pull King?

Same reason he's no longer at A&M...great option/rpo QB with an occasional pass attempt, but way to much hitch in his passing mechanics and lack of arm strength.

He led them to 2 straight scoring drives and was 6 for 6 with a rushing and passing TD?

I meant why did they pull him in THIS game

King has a throwing shoulder injury. They have been pulling him on obvious passing downs. Can still run.

Here we go again. Teams go up against Miami and then promptly crap the bed. Every week.

King back in to run zone read up the middle for 4 yards before punting with plenty of time.

Miami finally runs out of luck. This could easily have been their 3rd loss

King's arm looked pretty strong to me. If he has a throwing shoulder injury I can see why they didn't want him throwing a bunch but he slung it on target when he had to. Also had 93 rushing yards

King has an injury to his throwing shoulder. Hasn't played in a month. Could barely throw the ball downfield (he could complete short passes) so they were taking him out in obvious passing downs.

That wasn't the issue at all. The issue was Jimbo's ultra-crap offense and lack of QB, online, and WR development.

Haynes has been out the past couple of games due to a serious oblique and shoulder injury. This was his first game back. He was playing through serious pain and with a lot of grit. Tech was putting the true freshman, Philo, in when it was a passing down. Philo played well and led Chase perfectly for the great diving TD.

Haynes left it all on the field today. They wanted his leadership on the field. He had almost 100 yards rushing.

I just thought when they pulled him was odd because if he'd have just lead them to a fg drive it would have put the game out of reach and he had just led them on 2 consecutive td drives. Freshman came in and went 3 and out to give Miami a shot.

Haynes and Zach are both True Grit.
