Along with blocking, tackling, getting open, making good reads & throws, not peeking in the backfield, not running yourself out of the play.

Seems to run soft.
Moss is straight beast mode, and Amari can bring it just with a little less pop….but EJ seems to dislike contact

I would have Bussey taking snaps at RB during the bye week. I think the kid is talented enough. Give him 15-20% of the carries. Could he learn the playbook in time?

Smith played okay beginning of the season. He hasn't been strong or quick lately.

Daniels is very fast, but he needs space to run.

We need to look in the locker room for one guy that we can depend on for a 3rd or 4th and 1 for Texas game. I don't think Daniels or Reed can do that. Both of them need to add 30 to 40lbs of muscle to have a fighting chance.

I like Smith out of the backfield on the swing pass, but he doesn't seem to have a burst at the LOS. Too much lateral movement. I think Bussey could be a good fit for 20% of the carries.

Uh, we've already lost 2 games, so short of winning out, winning the SEC championship, and making a playoff run this is not happening.

We would need a drastic turnaround just to reach 2020 level.

Watched his dad's tape and trying to have a long career…

Bussey should be taking snaps at RB in practice. But I wouldn't show it until the Texas game. Let Daniels and Smith run during the Auburn game.

All of this sounds good, but I hope the coaching staff prepares them for New Mexico State rather than New Mexico.

Elko's challenge is not letting the 2024 season sink to 8-4

while 9-3 is only one game better -- it would be just the second time A&M has had a 9-win regular season since joining the SEC (2012)

the 2013, 2018, and 2020 teams needed a bowl win to reach 9 wins
