I agree it would be absolute crap if that happened and a team like Indiana ( assuming they lose only to Ohio st while playing no one else) or a 1 loss b12 or acc team like Iowa st or smu get in instead

Pat Forde is writing from MSN now? Has he been fired by every decent sports outlet? I honestly did not know Forde was even still around...just assumed he'd retired after his 6th (or 7th or 8th?) time being fired.

This. Both teams that make the SECCG should be automatic qualifiers for the playoff.

You can guarantee a spot for the B1G and SEC runner ups. So that's 7 spots that are pretty much pencilled in. The other 5 are up for debate.
