Can't under estimate the importance of adding coach Moffitt to the staff.

This was their one year to get this game from us before Elko loaded up. Elko nearly guarantees them an L every year they play us and allows them less defensive recruits from the state of Tx. Lsu can be thanked for expediting Elko's recruiting via this last game.

Agree it's a good thing, but think it's just too hard for them to admit they got whipped. Easier to blame it on being unprepared for a running qb. We go down to BR and do it again next year, the tears will flow.

LSU is very close to taking their ball and running home again, except there's nowhere to go anymore.

If Elko embarrasses them at their own place again next year, they'll finally admit it's a rivalry. They won't actually say it (they're very sip-like in that regard), but when Kelly suddenly ends up on the hot seat that night it will be pretty clear.

What they can't get over is feeling like they were going to win the game in a route for the first 37 minutes only to watch their team get their skull crushed in. The swamptard mind can't process that.
