Give OP all the grief you want, but its had a direct affect on all but one of their games so far. Look at their wins:

Old Domin: 4 TOs to SoCar's 1
Kentucky: 2 TOs to SoCar's 1
Akron: both had 1 TO
OU: 4 TOs to SoCar's 0

Now, look at their losses:
LSU: 2 TOs to SoCar's 3
Ole Miss: 1 TO to SoCar's 2
Bama: 2 TOs to SoCar's 4

They likely win both Bama and LSU games with 1, certainly 2, fewer turnovers or 1 more by the opponent.

It's always been true that TOs are the most important metric linked to winning. But when both teams play great D, then the TO metric is even more powerful.

We've only lost 6 turnovers this year. SCe has lost 12.

Yep

Short fields or scoring with defense/special teams are going to be very important in this game

Alabama also had a safety (absolutely stupid play by Milroe- the ball was on their 12 yard line and he floated back into the end zone) that is basically the same as a turnover

What gets me is how we only have two fumble recoveries on the season (both against Arkansas) given how much pressure we create in the backfield.

We must come out w/ a Killer Instinct and put the game away in the first half.
I expect our D to shut down their Offense.
