3rd quarter, 17-14, LSU is down around our 30 threatening to answer our score with their own score to get the lead and momentum back. We had largely helped them get that far down the field with penalties.

3rd down...Nuss hits LSU receiver around our 15 and he's caught it and it looks like 1st and 10 for LSU at the 15...and Scooby hits the crap out the receiver just as he is finishing the catch completion and knocks it out.

LSU has to then do a FG try, hilariously f***s that up by snapping before the holder expected, and we are on the way to going up 28-17 soon after.

HUGE critical play by Scooby. Great timing to hit the receiver. Hit him viciously yet perfectly avoiding a targeting call. Those are the types of execution plays at key moments that I think sometimes get overshadowed.

We have had excellent LB'er play this year. It's a weird feeling.

No doubt. That was a great hit. That play is much harder today with the current rules.

Scooby has done really well for us this year.

That was a great play, no doubt. It just about stuck the fork into LSU that night. But Scooby's play has certainly been highlighted on here, maybe not to the extent of Myle's picks or Reed's magnificent dissection of the LSU defense.

That was a huge play and great hit by Scooby and effectively killed that drive. He lowered the boom on that WR after he though he caught the ball. It almost reminded me of "The Hit" by Q Coryatt.

Textbook hit in the narrow windows allowed by today's rules.
