I went to check out the COSM viewing experience in Dallas. It's very cool, but there are some serious design flaws with regards to the seating in the Dome. If you have a seat under one of the overhanging deck for the next level, you have no view of the screen. They could have made the dome as big as an actual IMAX theater with seating like a theater instead of stadium decks and it would sell out and be a much better viewing experience. IMAX theaters should show games to generate extra revenue since movie theaters are hurting and movies these days are steaming piles of crap.
It was not worth the $50+ unless you get one of the better seats. You feel like you are in the stadium in the if you're on the second, or third decks. Don't bother going to the dome, unless you're second, or third deck.
The hall part of the COSM was fantastic. It felt like a sportsbook without the betting. I'm wondering if they built the COSM in Dallas to get ahead of gambling legalization in TX. There are only two locations up to this point in the country.
Food was solid, but Jerryworld stadium pricing. Some typical LSU fans snuck in their own beers and cokes and could not have been more obvious since they left their trash all over the place where they were seated when they left. Rookie move.
The management was pissed off and out for blood, but they'd already taken off.
