Ewers reminds me of Jeff George, for those who can remember that far back. Lots of natural ability, but a casual approach. Looking for the the best deal. Commit to tu, then NIL deal to Ohio St. Back to tu. Prep for the NFL I expect is next.

Supposedly, Ewers two biggest personal goals were to win the Heisman and be the top QB drafted. He's not going to win the Heisman... I really wonder if 247 got hacked. It seems sketchy.

Hope that's true, but ewers has publicly stated he's all in.

Personally, I'm hoping sewers ends up in the toilet and manning never man's up.

True or not, there's power in the bench. Watching gameday today and Saban was discussing it. He said the bench was an integral part of his system and getting kids in line. If they're not doing what you, as the coach want, you bench them. "There's a powerful link between the butt and the brain."

You mean a QB gets benched in nationally broadcast game and his team loses and he isn't happy? Go figure.

I actually thought Manning would be offended by being benched when he seemed to do better than Ewers was doing up to that point.

I put no more stock into this post than the ones a few days ago saying he left the team and was turning pro, or the ones saying he actually benched himself because he needed a moment to get his head straight.

Although he was moving the ball, Manning did end up throwing an int, which makes it hard to say it was a good drive.

Yeah - it was really odd to me initially that 247 claimed they were hacked, which means somebody hacked them....and chose to use that as an opportunity to put together a fake graphic, with fake info in their normal format.

Would be a very odd thing to do, IMO.

Wouldn't be shocked at all if they were getting info and had some things written and ready to go and somebody accidentally hit publish.

May not ever matter, but "hacked" always seemed like a funny thing to say.
