It's been over 15 years since I have tailgated in Aggieland. I bringing my boy (12) and daughter (8) this Saturday to enjoy the experience.

Any advice? I'm thinking about bringing a pop up tent and chairs. I'm hoping we can walk around and experience the setting.

Maybe Texags has a tailgate?

I debated asking on this forum; we may play it by ear. Should be fun enough and being at night the wow factor for the boy will be great.

Tailgating is at the parking lots and really not that much to see except people drinking in parking lots. Feed them early on the way to campus go to the msc rudder Aggie park complex do the official game day experience and avoid the tailgate scene your children won't think it is all that interesting have snacks and drinks for when you get back to the car

Google Aggie Park and find a map of the area.
I can't remember if you have to reserve a spot in the "free" tailgating area.
It's a beautiful setting now but frankly I liked the old Spence Park free-for-all better.

Watch the step off at the quad and follow the FTAB to the stadium. I think they'll love that!

Look into the All Aggie Hullabaloo at the Association. Free food and drinks, all you have to do is register.

It looks like registration was only required for the LSU game and the rest is walk up? Is that right?

Looking for a tailgate this weekend for me and my wife and this looks like a fun option.
