LSU won 10 straight matchups when A&M entered the SEC. And LSU didn't just beat them in football. They beat them in baseball. They often beat them in basketball. When LSU fans think of A&M fans, they call them 'the googs'."

Not surprised. They can't count. Starting in 1990, we won 5 in a row and they ended the rivalry. Renewed in 2011 at Cotton Bowl and lost 7 straight. Traded off every year since.

He's right about one thing. The Universities are not anywhere close to equal.

Most of the LSU people are great imo. They have more than their fair share of drunk mostly Tshirt jack holes but by and large you just have to understand that they are going to taunt you but just accept it and laugh and they'll hand you a beer.

Have heard similar comments re "never won anything"

I'm am so sick of these T-Shirt fans with microphones. Blake Ruffino isn't an LSU alumnus, he graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University. Podcast or not, he is no different than a Sam Houston, or Texas State grad going out to Wal-Mart, picking out a t-shirt and hat, and starting to root for t.u. I'd tell him to stay in his lane and cover his own alma mater.

Except for that Cotton Bowl after the 2010 season. We were doing ok until Michael Hodges got hurt. Then, LSU just ran all over us.

He lost me when he said team and university. Thankfully, we are not LSU as a university, which is a glorified community college.
