So they are going for $160? With the price of gold I thought they'd be over 1k

Has any Aggie ever sold his/her ring ? If so, I've never heard of it. I guess there could be a family member who sold one, after their Aggie passed, but I still doubt it.

Has nothing to do with unis or anything else. Once you get your ring, you never let go of it; and if you're unfortunate enough to lose it somewhere, you just pray it is found and returned.

The ONLY valid ANNUAL goal for ALL Aggie Sports is a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

Tell me you're class of '73 without telling me.

All you need to do is go into any pawn shop in B/CS and you'll likely find an Aggie ring. Plenty of people sell them.

I lost my original.

Family got me a replacement.

I miss that old ring. I keep thinking it will find its way back to me, but no luck so far.

Never say never. I actually have two Aggie rings now because the first one was stolen, not long after I got it back in college, ordered another one about a year later and then unfortunately left it on a sink in a club and was trying to decide if I wanted to be an absolute loser and order a third when the first one showed up back through a pawnshop, but I thought it was the second one, but I had put a diamond in the second one and never had in the first one.

Then the second one showed up through a different pawnshop about six months later.

Then years later accidentally left my ring in the bathroom on the road, and thought it was gone again forever, but I did have the other one, however five years later it showed up through the association from lady that found it, Took it with her to return it and then forgot about it, put it in a drawer and then they moved homes. She found it when they were cleaning out to move.

And the first two that were returned from pawnshops or the late 80s before the Internet. The people that found them turned them into pawnshops in Dallas and Houston, and then the pawnshop owners The association to get my phone number and then called me.

I still have two of them now. And I never take it off and leave it on sink tops anymore.

Yeah, those first few years were pretty stupid. But in all fairness, one of them was actually stolen from my apartment and the second one was on New Year's Eve in Houston and I wasn't thinking clearly.

The one in about 2014 was just sheer stupidity. Getting it back in about 2019 was pretty interesting. The lady had even written a note about how she had seen it and meant to send it back to the association immediately and forgot about it. It was pretty cool.

But I'm one lucky son of a ***** because I've got them both to this day. One of them is actually a little lighter than the other and one of them has the top part fits a little separate from the bottom part. Just the two year difference between how they were made was interesting.

I should I guess. The most I've ever won off the lottery ticket was $200.

But I am very lucky at casinos most of the time.

I'm painting my ring black just for this weekend. I'll never EVER sell my ring. I was damn near there (by a million miles) with the 'bevel", but I realized that I put too much hard work into earning this BEAUTIFUL ring! Anyone considering selling their ring for something temporary like this didn't want it to begin with.

You know what I do? I refrain from buying "beveled' crap. I buy BLOCK "T" and simplistic Aggie wear and flags. Try this if you're thinking about the "BLACK" out. Don't go to the game and enjoy the next weekend with Gorgeous Maroon and White Uniforms. It's really that simple.

It's a team I love and an event that doesn't happen very often if at all. I'll enjoy it.
Hopefully your wife like missionary position, because obviously you don't like to switch things up
