Texas A&M Football will be wearing all black on Saturday. The end zone and midfield logo are painted black. The players have asked fans to wear all black. The entire student section is wearing black. We will have Black 12th man towels.


Please be a selfless team player, an Aggie, and wear Black, even if it isn't your favorite. It's one game.

The environment will be absolutely electric!!

Futile approach: hey, the players are hyping up a black out for the game! The stadium will look so cool if we're all wearing black!

Shrewd approach: Hey, Pepaw, Coach Elko said he wants everyone to wear their special black NRA or 9Line black shirt with the giant flag on the back! Or even your black Harley one!

It's going to take huge effort to pull this off if they want it done. It's not a make a couple posts on social media and texags kind of thing. Believe it or not, there are olds that go to the game that partake in neither.

It also needs to be concise and have some official backing or big influence... otherwise it's just a "we're going streaking at the quad" kind of thing where people are reluctant to buy in.

Red white and blue game literally had 12th man foundation calling ticket holders and people selling the shirts at the game.

Over 50% of the stadium already knows.

Red, White, and blue is far more complicated with far less time and far less technology.

It looked great the 2nd time around without calling every season ticket holder.

I think you'll be surprised. Stubborn people will be the bigger problem than people who don't know, and I think they are a loud minority.

I can't believe the amount of *****ing that it's coming from Ags about the color of their clothes. It's not hard to wear black for one game to do something cool for the players. Quit being little *****es. Man up. Wear black. Support those that play their assess off for you each Saturday. *****es
