An "injury" is causing everything. ?
Footwork for a QB is a huge part of their game, not having confidence or having bad habits can change everything

I agree.

4. WRs dropped a least 2 deep passes. But otherwise looked good
Guess you missed the 2 throws that should have been interceptions by the defenders, and likely for pick 6s.

Weigman was like always, a mediocre roller coaster, 50/50 player at best with no fire. Time for a change to Reed. Reed is no less accurate than Weigman (not a high bar !) but at least he a some fire, and adds a spark to the team.

LSU will likely beat us by a large margin, especially if we play Weigman. Playing Reed instead won't hurt our chances, and will likely improve them...... especially if LSU preps assuming Weigman, but gets Reed instead.

CW was great on 3rd down conversions, especially in the first half. He made some great throws on 3rd downs. He also won his second SEC game in a row. I believe he will play better at home against LSU.
.... and I believe my dead Aunt will grow a pair of balls and become my Uncle !

I bet you scream at the TV a lot. You are nothing but a pessimistic, keyboard naysayer. Weigman did not look great, but the answer is not Reed, who has not looked great at all. Our defense can keep us in the LSU game. I think they (LSU) are extremely overrated. If you can get to Nussbaum, LSU has nothing to fall back on. Run the Damn Ball, and blitz the damn QB.

Georgia only beat Miss State by 10 points AT HOME and then look what they did in Austin a week later. Just like this team's Bowling Green performance didn't translate to the game versus Missouri, doesn't mean A&M is going to look bad versus LSU because they only won at Miss State by 10.

Weigman has highest ceiling and lowest basement. Reed is secure with ball but not nearly as good as Weigman when CW is on. Reed is far better than Weigman when weigman is off due to Reeds better legs and ball security.

Go with Weigman and see which version we get. If he has a poor 1st half put in Reed

Conner needs to make cleaner decisions. He's going to see pressure looks from everyone we play going forward. The pre-snap reads he's getting are solid, but he's falling into a habit of not verifying the pre-snap with his eyes before making the throws. He's a great anticipation passer, but that can fool you when you lean on it too heavily.

What MSU threw at Weigman, he needed to see and will probably be better for it. The two bad decision throws were both predicated by aggressive gambling defensive tactics.

On the flat throw intended for Leveon, the defender was in an ultra-aggressive cloud technique intended to jump the route in the flat. It's not totally clear if Conner got a soft read pre-snap and neglected to verify the defender before committing to the throw. This is not a technique you're going to see often because it is high-risk on the defenses part and I think MSU was willing to take the chance because Conner was ripping them apart on 3rd down in conventional defenses. Leveon read the defense correctly and released into the open seam behind the Corner (although his release was a little slow). Had Conner adjusted his pre-snap read, it opened up for a long gain.

On the interception over the middle, MSU was in a Robber technique dropping the safety all the way down into the short curl zone. Conner missed the open space on the deeper level dig route which was open. I think this was again a function of committing to the pre-snap read and failing to account for the aggressive technique MSU disguised out of the zone.

These are great teaching opportunities and it was good that MSU threw some of these more aggressive coverage techniques at us. If Conner absorbs the lessons, particularly "don't be lazy in verifying your reads", it will pay dividends down the road.

Some poster above questioned Conner's accuracy. I have no idea why. He's one of the most accurate QB's certainly in the conference if not the country. Every QB is going to have a few passes get away during a game (he did have the ball slip from his hand unfortunately on the 1st int) and interceptions will happen when you're attacking a defense aggressively through the air. Once again Weigman was very accurate on the vast majority of throws both short and downfield (two of which could have been caught for long gains). The issues on Saturday were related to processing technique and staying in the moment as opposed to letting your pre-snap reads get locked into cruise control.
