I get it won't happen but it seems it is even more imperative they take action against tu today since the call was reversed. There has to be consequences or all is lost.

To keep this from happening going forward (after all, the temper tantrum worked), CFB should institute a huge in-game penalty. With so much money slopping around the game, fines don't matter much. But do something that can actually alter the game (like most penalties can), and this kind of stuff won't happen.

I can't imagine what that would be. Maybe a free field goal kick at the 25 yard line for the other team?

If they tried that, I don't think it's too far fetched to see opposing fans show up in home team gear and start launching crap on the field. Reality is there is nothing you can really do from a penalty perspective.

Yes, but in this case I am happy the call was reversed so that the sips and media can't blame the loss on the refs. Had the call not been reversed the narrative would have been "Texas had the momentum and would have come back and win if it weren't for the pi call".
