If Nolan had any sense instead of cents he would have stayed, realizing what playing for Elko did for Mack and other Aggie DLs playing on Sunday. But we still got studs and he is stuck in ole piss.

This guy?

Nolen was stupid to transfer. He had a much better situation with a coach like Elko. A&M is looking up and Ole Miss is looking down.

I'm sure you would have advised your son to not take significant NIL dollars and go to a top 10 team closer to home and instead stay with a team where your coach was just fired and you know nothing about the incoming coaches.

That is the difference between you and I.

I would advise my son to take a long term decision, not short termed one like NIL. His goal is NFL.

Some mock drafts got him going in the first round. He'll be fine.

And maybe he would've performed better at A&M but nobody knows. Maybe he hated it at A&M.

Only way to complete the laughter and throw it back in big Walt's face is for the Ags to continue winning.

No he was very solid. But they lost. Jardin Gilbert and Caden Davis were also key factors in the game.

I feel like I spent all day watching transfers and recruiting targets.
Are you kidding me????

The guy had 1 solo tackle and 1 assist in a game that went to OT.

Ole Miss other defensive tackle, Pegues, doubled up Walter's production tonight.

He also drew two critical holding calls late and was a disruptive force.

He was pointed out several times by the commentators.

I think you guys forget he is a 305 lbs defensive tackle.

Jealousy just making you see what you want.
I like how you conveniently don't mention his crucial late hit in the 3rd qtr, that cost his team big time.

Oh you are right I forgot he definitely can't make the NFL playing at ole miss.

Those of you that want to pretend he sucks and those of you that want to make sure everyone else knows he's a badass are equally annoying.

Based upon his HS rankings and all that other bs......
He demanded a bunch of money. Probably got more $$$ at Ol Miss.

They thought based on all that HYPE he was a Game Changer.
They Were WRONG!

Now we know nothing about his role in Team Chemistry, Good or Bad, while here at Aggieland. We know we lost a few players that had been contributors to the Portal. We added several players from the Portal.
We know there was a change in the coaching Staff and we lost several probably the emphasis on this and that.

Net Result is the appearance of a Defensive Performance on the Rise, and apparently significant contribution for the Portal Additions. We had a few tests and shown a lot of Promise. We have some GREATER tests to come.

Coincidence. Who Knows. But I like the direction

I've watched him play all year and he has been average at best. He still looks out of shape and flabby. He's not playing like a 5 star but I wouldn't trade Albert Regis for two Walter Nolens.

I'd say he regrets his decision to leave since A&M is in a better spot to make the playoffs than Old Piss, but his needs were only about $ and not about winning, so I doubt he even cares that much.
My username checks out.

He DID get a really dumb 15yd penalty for late hit QB in critical late 3rd Qtr drive on their 43 yd line.

Gave them 1st and 10 at 28 instead of 3rd and 5 at the 45, setting up a FG.

I will thank him for encouraging Ags to read their NIL agreements. Seems our players are QUITE happy with how things are going in Aggieland as we begin our march toward the Playoffs, while his is ending.

Why would he be involved in others NIL agreements?

Jeez, it seems somes ignorance knows no bounds.

He doesn't even tackle, he just asks politely, and the offense sits down on their own. What a player

On pace for 5 sacks, 12 TFLs, 50 tackles, and 44 QB pressures.

If the pace continues, that's better production over 2023 by a decent clip (with sacks about the same).. Still not a big effort guy.

A sure fire first rounder.

About the money
We don't wa t or need players like that. We had too many of those under jimbo killing the culture

The kids Elko kept on and brought in gave all bought in 100%

That's what's going to win games and get you into the playoffs, not money chasers who quit whenever they face adversity or feel the moment isn't big enough for them to play their best

This is actually a pretty short-sighted decision.

Ole Miss dropping a couple of games isn't really going to hurt his draft status. He'll be fine in that regard no matter which program he's playing for. What would kill his draft status is an in-season injury (which is just as probable with either team) - that happens and he's wishing he took the bigger NIL deal.

It's a zero risk decision to transfer to Ole Miss - take the money.

Maybe if he was a QB and the team W/L record impacted how NFL teams viewed him, then the evaluation would be different. But that's not the case for D-linemen. Perform and you're good.
