Oh, they definitely have a chance. The OU offense stinks.

But this is a rivalry game. I mean, if you listen to any average sip, they will tell you OU is their true rival (conveniently ignoring the words of their Texas Fight song that mentions A&M, not OU). OU has brought it against the sips since the formation of the Big 12. This is probably one of the sip's closest long-running series, sitting at 63-51-5. OU has as much of a chance as sippy does, even moreso IMO given their game against UT. They have a defense, and they have been tested in a real SEC game. sippy has played State, and actually struggle some with the Dawgs before pulling away late. I can absolutely see OU winning this game.

ou fans probably pulling for ut to win the conference. for two rivals that supposedly hate each other, they support each other in everything. practically sister programs.

what i like more than anything else is sippy doesn't get a bye and then a cupcake the next week. welcome to the big leagues where every game is a super bowl for someone. after ou they play georgia and then they play at vandy. vandy is clearly not your grandfathers vandy and they will be lying in wait.

I know this is a rivalry game but you can bet the farm on sips beating OU. They'll be up for this game. I think the sips chance at a surprise loss before they play us is the two week stretch of Arky and Kentucky. Two teams they will certainly (their fanbase atleast) overlook but who can certainly beat anyone. Texas will make sure to be up and ready the next two weeks of OU and Georgia. Not saying Georgia is a for sure win for them but they will be all in mentally for both games. In their fans minds they go undefeated if they win the next two.

This is an Auburn team that lost to Cali, and Ark.

I don't get how OU has a dominating defense.
Tenn 350 yrd and could have had 450+ after going conservative after halftime.

This is one of those games where records and expectations can be thrown out the window. Sip has beaten OU when OU should have won, and OU has beaten sip when sip should have won.

Boomer doesn't have any of its starting receivers and are in disarray on offense.

It might be competitive, but I don't think they really stand a chance. I think sip handles this one easily unfortunately, without needing the refs to bail them out too.

2 overrated teams. But OU is awful. They gave up like 500 yards to Auburn. Not sure how that's even possible. And OU's offense has been awful all year. Their only chance is the fact this is a rivalry game, and a few of their rivalry's past games have proven the worse team can sometimes win.

Texas is by far the better team on paper. That said, OU has a pretty good defense and Hawkins is athletic enough to present some problems. Their WR group has been decimated by injuries.

I think Texas wins, but you just never know in this one.
