SEC World gets to watch A&M vs Texas 3 times this year.

1) End of regular season
2) Atlanta SEC Champ
3) CFP Matchup

Pretty crazy to imagine. The melt would be insane.

For those reasons, I kinda want Texas to win out till we beat them down at Kyle.

I hope they get a trifecta of losses from the only meat on the schedule, Lose to OU, then lose to Georgia, then lose in perfect fashion to Vanderbilt. I hope they're not even ranked when we play them. 0-12 isn't enough for them, I hope they get too tsippy one of these days and fold their program.

.....man we got a long ways to go......My BAS has been suppressed for another week but I in no way am drinking that kind of kool aid yet. Let's just chill....enjoy the win.

But yes.....texas needs to loose all the games, hate those guys.
I live in waco....therefore, I am ready to move elsewhere.

This will never happen.
Starting in the 2024-25 season, here's the new, expanded format to know:

  • 12 teams will be selected to the Playoff field
  • The four highest-ranked conference champions will be seeded 1-4 and each will receive a first-round bye
  • Teams seeded 5-12 will play each other in the first round on the home field of the higher-ranked team
The quarterfinals and semifinals rotate among six bowls: Cotton, Fiesta, Orange, Peach, Rose and Sugar. Both semifinals will be played around the New Year's holiday with the national title game on a Monday night at least a week later. See the 2024-25 CFP schedule below.

I'm not saying one way or the other. Just how it works.

They could run the table. They could also lose to any of the bold games.

OU is probably the second easiest game left on the schedule for them.

This year I think there will be a lot of quality 2 and 3 loss teams in the top 20 at the end of the year. Unfortunately, they're sitting the prettiest at the moment to survive 3 losses if anyone can.

Is that really the SEC's worst nightmare? I think they'd welcome two of the biggest brands in the sport playing. Missouri vs Vanderbilt or something would be the worst nightmare.

Not convinced on Arky - it's possible that like Mizzou, UT wasn't that great. And Arky's QB situation is suspect.

Now, Kentucky, there's a team that could jump up and bite, but if I recall that game is at DKR

Remember how we'd get to 5 or 6 and 0 then drop 4 or so games after getting all that hype for so many years?

I want the sips to feel that. Especially for a few years in a row.

They haven't hit the depth of the SEC yet, and ill bet it's going to happen to them.
