A lot of kudos to the Aggies. Many wishing their fanbase would be as loyal as ours. Some folks citing "there's nothing to do in CS" while they have a school in the ghetto of BR is pretty bold.

So proud of how the 12th man showed up yesterday. Kyle was rocking. My voice is still gone from screaming.

And as someone who's been a student at both schools and seen many games in Tiger Stadium, it's a dump compared to Kyle. Aggies often times have no idea how good we have it here.

Also, add in the fact that we had a packed crowd for a fall exhibition baseball game against Houston Christian.

That, combined with the complaints about Baton Rouge traffic, is hilarious.

They apparently have no clue that Aggies are driving in from Houston, Dallas, SA, and all over the state.

As if BCS townies are turning out to support the Big School.

Baton rouge is an absolute garbage dump. I have lived there enough years of my life to consider myself more than qualified to bag on red stick.

But also,...LSU packs out a lot of games. Some 11am games have been pretty light but they generally do a good job even with a slightly older stadium situation. Not sure why they are so upset. It's an near mythical venue and they have a significant homefield advantage. Seems like off-season level complaining.

Ha! I had to ask the same question when it came up yesterday. Apparently, the students have a week long break in the Fall now (like Spring Break). We didn't have that in the 90s. Not sure when that started.

Never read any thread about A&M on SEC Rant or really any SEC opponent's forum. We're just called "Gay" nonstop and "weird" for what they call gay.

And our leadership can't think of a way to negate their attacks, despite that adding women for the TV would do the job.

It's only Monday and Tuesday. And we get Thursday and Friday off for Thanksgiving. It's not super groundbreaking. Lol

I love the brag about direct flights.

A ton of posters on that site do a good job of representing the stereotypical sheltered South Louisiana native who never left his home parish, thinks New Orleans and Baton Rouge are impressive big cities, and thinks Texas is a desert.

Just shared this "best beaches" claim with my Louisiana wife. We had a nice laugh, but then she went on a rant about the time that she and her sister tried to find a beach there on a visit with the kids. 4 hour round trip from where her sister lives to the only beach there (Grand Isle) which she described as terrible & covered in trash.

Dunno... maybe da coonazzes thinking that an estuary is a beach. They have plenty of those.

Negative. Thanksgiving is in November. Just highlighting the other time off during the semester. A&M does 2 days for fall break and 2 days for Thanksgiving instead of a full week for Thanksgiving or something along those lines.
