Our game is the only ranked vs ranked team on the schedule this week.

A lot of teams have this Sat off, including 5 of our last 6 opponents.

I think if we score more points than they do, we will probably win.

You need to differentiate between a Football win, and an F5 win.

On F5 If we don't score on our opening drive, that's -7 points. Each turnover is another -7 points. The wrong uniforms are -14 points, any penalty is -7 points, and anything less than 500yrds of passing is another -7 points. So even if we win the game 34-31, we still probably won't overcome the negative point differential from F5.

Now IF we play the game perfectly, score on our opening drive, have no penalties, fumbles/INT's, AND we look good while we do it, then it's a true W that can be accepted here. We have standards damit.

Luther Burden is the guy to key on. He is their big time playmaker and will be a first round pick. Outside of him they aren't scary. Both the rushing and passing offense is outside the top 25 and that is after four games of only playing BC who has a winning record but are not dominant.

They are fifth in the nation at passing yards allowed and 19th in rushing defense but the two best teams they have played are BC and Vandy. Although both of those teams are improved they are nowhere near elite. So I don't think much can be learned from those stats except that Missouri's defense is probably above average to good.

Missouri should bring their safeties down and force us to beat them passing since that is obviously our biggest weakness on offense.

I think our defense can contain their O and if Reed continues to not turn the ball over then we have a good shot and winning a close game at home.

We need to figure out a way to be successful in the running game before the 4th qtr. I think we had 48 rushing yards in the first half of Arky. That is putting all the pressure on a red-shirt freshman QB to make plays. I expect Mizzou and all our remaining opponents to sell out against the run and force Reed to beat them with his arm.

We need some creative play calling to find early success in the running game and provide Reed some easy throws to force Mizzou out of stacking the box all game.

Other than that, our secondary has to play better and stop giving up huge chunk plays. Mizzou will definitely take some shots downfield.

Our OL is playing well this year. Let them do some work early and often.

We can't run it on 1st down to the left and get 2 yards. Then run it to the left again for 2 more yards on second down.

I'm sure Mizzu will stack the box just like BG and Arky did. We need to have Reed hit the little passes for 3 to 5 yards with a few 10 to 15 yards thrown in. Hopefully that will open up the running game. To me Reeds biggest problem when passing is it looks like he's throwing fast balls and needs to learn to have a little finesse on the ball. I think he'll get there but we can't forget he's still a red shirt freshman and was thrown into action a lot sooner than he may have been ready for. Wig was the starter for a reason and Reed is playing pretty good under the circumstances.

Let's not forget that the 2 SEC wins were on the road. I now that Jerry's world is a neutral site but it's still not Kyle Field.

BTHO Mizzu

You bring up a good point about short passes to open up the run game. Hopefully some more RPO or play action/rollout plays called to keep them from selling out on the run. Play action w some slants or TE seems should be open all game.

This game is gonna be similar to the TCU Georgia game. TCU had won some close games, had a magical lil run, and then played a real physical team.

Aggies are in a different class than Mizzou. And I don't mean any offense to that, but watching the past few games, the physical nature of the teams, I don't think Mizzou has faced a team like ours.

We are as physical as Arkie, but with more weapons. Against a weaker defense, we can showcase them more. And watching Mizzou closely on film, I don't think they could handle Bowling Green or Arkie.

Do not be surprised if we manhandle them on both lines… we still need to catch some balls, get some first downs, but running and stop their run will be very easy.

As long as we don't turn the ball over, or give them big plays, I look for this to be a duplicate of two years ago…

35-14 Ags… we may even score more this week if we jump on them early!

Moving pocket to let our qb have clearer throwing lanes and running options.

Problem with moving the pocket is that the receivers have time to run at least 10 yards downfield.

So? We'll use a the comeback route. Point is, and I've been saying this for years…

We need to move the pocket, get reed in space. He isnt accurate enough to stand there and beat you with his arm

So you want to put a QB with bad footwork on the move to be less accurate?

Rodney broke a linebackers' leg with his thigh that game. Dude made the mistake of leaving his leg in the hole. Snapped like a twig.

Same offensive performance as last week won't win many SEC games, but it will beat Missouri.

They are worse than Arkansas.

They are the single biggest fraud in the top 25.

They will lose 5 games this year.

Well... At least 4. Their schedule, other than Bama, is cake. And they will still lose at least 4.

Told you they suck.

It was obvious from well before we played them.

They were horrible with him. How'd he play against competition that had a pulse?
