I think it was probably overthrown by Reed but you can't knock someone down that early in the route. At that point there is no good way to judge the catchability. Has to be a flag there.

Sitting Moss and giving Daniels touches in the last drive is a huge mistake… Moss is patient, has better vision, and gets more yards after touch.

He ought to be able to miss 1 play and get back in then. Instead we ran it twice without him and lost yards both times. And asking our new Right Guard to pull which he was too slow to do.
