Since my time at JMU, they have had abnormally good luck with low tier FBS or power 5 QBs transferring down to FCS/Sun Belt. They have been able to do this over and over with different head coaches. The notables being Vad Lee (GT), Ben DiNucci (Pitt), Todd Centeio (Temple/Colorado State), Jordan McCloud (South Florida/Arizona). This year the presumptive starter was a transfer from Washington but Alonza Barnett beat him out. Barnett is only the 3rd starting QB that JMU recruited out of high school in the past 10 years. Cole Johnson and Bryan Schor are the other two, also great QBs for FCS level.
