Watching the game again on Youtube here:

One thing that stuck out was at 8:22. Cyrus Allen catches the ball and is heading to the endzone. But Noah Thomas at the bottom of the screen realizes his defender has an angle on Allen, so he waves Allen to the middle of the field where he can set up a lane for him to run.

This is outstanding play on Noah's part, he basically has no block, but after vectoring Allen in, creates a block that ensures the touchdown.

Would hope our WR1 would have more than 2 receiving yards. But that is just me

i will take 2 yards receiving, a great block, and a win from my number 1 all day long. a lot better than 7 catches for 100 yards and a td in the loss. but that's just me.

Other thread claims Noah jogs through his routes and doesn't put forth effort sometimes, particularly when CW is behind center. So which narrative we going with.

he's at least 3, 4 if Moose gets targets! Our receiver room is led by Cyrus Allen and Jabre Barber! Thomas has 450 career receiving yards… Barber has 1,653 and Allen has 1,459… although a TexAgs favorite, we have better options!!!

Jabre Barber had the smartest football play I saw in the game at the 1:54 mark of that video

Reed hit the inside receiver on the quick out hot route. Barber is in perfect position to absolutely destroy the nickel to spring the play with an illegal crack back block, resists the urge, pulls you, but still manages to screen off the defender with a legal block to break the play & convert on 3rd and 10.

If he follows instinct and lights him up it would have turned a key 3rd down conversion into a punt on a drive that ended with Thor's TD
