What amazes me is you'll call out the guy predicting 9 wins (far more realistic) than the guy(s) predicting 3/4 wins (far less realistic than 9).
I'm personally in between the two predictions as of now, but gun to my head, I'd say 9-3 is more likely than 4-8. And all vegas lines, game predictions, etc., would concur.
The 9+ win guys won't tell us where the wins they're predicting are coming from because they think Mizzou and LSU will be easy wins at home and they won't. They think we can go on the road and beat underperforming SEC teams at their place but we haven't proven the ability to do that. They think we'll somehow dig deep and beat surging Ole Miss and sip teams.
It's all hope and prayer with no logic or common sense

Well, a couple of things…no one foresaw the move from Weigman to Reed. Had we used Weigman, we lose to both Bowling Green and Arkansas. Even with Reed, we don't look very good. At all. Mizzou win has brought hope and confidence. Hope can be dangerous tho. Only one "guaranteed" win the rest of the way. SC will be tough. Very tough. Can't sleep on Auburn. 8-4 seems likely. A lot better than I thought.
