It is the law in Texas but it is up to the establishment to decide if they want to allow it. Sounds like everyone was cool, thankfully.

Police offices send fake customers all the time and if concession stands fail these "test" there are consequences. How do you know that the concession worker actually reported you or the police officer just said that…

If he was with three of his kids, I'd assume the concession worker would be savvy enough to put two and two together to realize the oldest young person with him was most likely his offspring.

Again: why is the concession stand worker not doing their job of enforcing TABC laws rather than ratting out this conservative gentleman?

Upon reading the comments, I agree that everyone was just doing their job(s). I was slightly annoyed by it, that's all.

Also, I didn't meant to attach a negative connotation to the particular student grad school group that was running the concession stand. A lot of the concession stands seem to be run by foreign student groups raising money for their clubs - which I think is great.

And, yeah, after reading the comments I suppose I may be overreacting.
