Yale Lary is the only Aggie HOFer. Crazy. And sad if you think about it. So many lesser programs have produced more HOFers than us.

Richmond Webb and Lester should definitely be in. Shane Lechler has a strong argument. Von and Evans will get in. Some work to do but Myles has a good chance.

Evans and Von should be locks.

Myles could theoretically be in if he retired right now, but he is on pace to be in.

This is a fun debate. I think Von will get in first
- He'll probably retire sooner
- He was easily a top 5 pass rusher in the NFL for a good 5-6 year span
- Super Bowl MVP
- 17th on the all-time sack leaderboard (6 sacks away from tying LT)

Lechler absolutely should in the HOF with a 47.6 average. Punters aren't flashy, but their impact is probably way underestimated. Plus, he has a 132.5 career passer rating.

Tough that Ray Guy is the only other punter in the HOF. Lechler should be in though, one of the best ever.

He just caught a bomb to put him at 101 yards. Hes gonna need some big games to get to 1,000 yards to keep his record going. I'm doubtful but it will be fun and interesting

He's unfortunately been out several games injured this year. Would be awesome to see him pull it off.

Ahh you are right. The season stat totals I was looking at had him at 590 in the total yards even though it jad today's game listed. He is at 749 so yeah, 84 per game needed.

A great example of why you recruit 3 star players, he was raw with work ethic and upside. Future first ballot NFL hall of fame!

The receiving stats you saw didn't include the yards from today's game. A lot of them had him at 590 yards which was what he had before today.

I think he can make 1000 and hope he does. I believe that would give him the record for most consecutive 1000 yard seasons and most to start a career.

Pretty sure he'll end up #2 all time behind Jerry Rice unless he just wants to play forever like Rice did. Rice was absolutely prolific, but amazingly he was prolific for 20 years. Not sure anyone will ever surpass him just because of the career length it would take and all of the things that could happen along the way, much less the necessary dedication.

He already has the record for most consecutive years of 1K yards to start career (10) and would tie Rice for most consecutive ever (11) with 251 more yards. Most such seasons in a career is 14, which appears reachable.

Rice wasn't so prolific his last two seasons and his knee injury year, making his career numbers even more impressive.

Evans' most impressive stats to me are his 1st down % (>77%) and fumbles (4). Rice had 27. 1st down % wasn't a stat for about the first half of Rice's career. It's around 66% during that period.

Just imagine what numbers Mike would have with a couple HOF QBs in their prime, a la Rice.

I thought he was still tied for that, but yeah he's got a serious shot at the overall record for 1000 years seasons. I think he easily retires #2 or #3 in all time receiving yards. If he does, he has to be a first round ballot guy.

Plus he is doing it all with the same team he started with, didn't chase hardware by jumping around.

he's not in the conversation on who gets in first. Garret is 6 years I believe behind miller, so while Garrett is well on his way to HoF, he won't get in before Von or Evans.

I heard on a podcast today Evans needs 8 catches, 250 yards and 1 TD to hit his incentives and earn a $3 million bonus. You know he's going to be trying to get that!

In terms of consistency and productivity Mike's greatness cannot be overstated.

Only WR to begin career with 10 straight 1000 yard seasons;
If he manages 251 yards over last 3 games, will tie Jerry Rice for consecutive such seasons; (Rice had 927 his rookie year)
Over 77% of catches have been for a 1st down;
Fumbled only 4 times; (Rice coughed it up 27 times)
Currently 9th in TDs while 24th in yards and 38th in catches.

And the dude played two years in college and what, only one year of high school football.
