Agreed. ND has some good defensive backs, and a decent defense, but they're far from elite.

Sure. But when we stall out drives from terrible throws, it gives the ball back to them and defense is on the field longer than it should be. Then, the opposing defense doesn't fear the pass and focus on the run in the second half. It becomes cumulative
