all i can say after all these years is there is no longer anything surprising about it. every year they roll out some propaganda to try an generate some hope and interest. if you fell for the old "savior qb" ploy, don't be too hard on yourself. you're probably just a rookie at this. after a couple of decades, you'll see that bs coming a mile away. at least there is no "if only" hindsight because klubnik doesn't look any better at clemson.
Took the words right out of my mouth. I've been watching groundhog day with this A&M football program for the past 30 years.
This game reminded me of the 1994 Cotton Bowl game against Notre Dame and the 1998 Cotton Bowl against UCLA.
A&M played tough in both games....but deep down you knew the team was going to lose the game in the 4th quarter against a superior opponent.
You forgot the OTHER Notre Dame cotton bowl, The sugar bowl against Ohio State, and Florida State in the Cotton.
Oh, and 10 out of 11 Game Day games.
Everytime we have a chance to change the narrative and do something great on national TV, we choke and prove all the naysayers right.
It's been this way since RC took over.
EVERY. DAMN. YEAR.
