It's a gold mine when you find patience.
Am I the only one that saw him puke on National tv? He looked sick and should have been benched after 55 yards passing in the first half.
For this style of offense to work the quarterback has to run with the ball 12 to 15 times a game. CW is too slow and after last year's injury he appears to be gun shy. The offense tonight looked nothing like what Kansas State ran last year.

Dude has only played like 11-12 games. Not sure why he has been put on this pedestal as the overwhelming #1 after what we saw out of Henderson in the bowl game

Kyle Allen was 12/34 for 88 yards and a pick before he was lifted for Hubenak. He threw a dozen or so straight incompletions and was clearly hurt long before Sumlin pulled him.

If he was that sick and they didn't pull him at the half, that's terrible coaching. Unlike what the idiot posters have said, he's played some damn good games in the past. This was ***** And if it was due to illness, Elko ****ed up
We've had qb's play as badly as Weigman did in many games. He cant be singled out in that way. The problem is, in virtually all of those games we got totally blown out team vs team and in this one, he's virtually the only one with truly terrible marks on the whole team and we could have won.

He was not touched the entire time. So this was the first time he's been hit since his injury.
He clearly now has a mental block that made him press and play bad compared to the past. I would guess he looked fine in practice knowing they could not hit him.
Elko might have to change up things in practice now to either help Weigman overcome it or have clarity that a change is eminent.
Of all the concerns on this team I did not think this would be the main one after game one. The O line actually played pretty solid against a very solid defense.

Or does that mean that our backup QB's are so much worse? Not good no matter what the reasons.

That interview with the mentalist on game day… It was a horrible look for Connor. He came across as highly immature and frankly sounded kind of dumb. I hope he figures it out quick.

It's a set up. Elko knew CWs limitations. So we lose a game and Henderson will now play. Elko did it so people on TexAgs wouldn't complain why we benched Conner after the 1sr qtr in last nights game.

I think you mean Reed - Henderson got hurt on the first drive of the bowl game.
But I agree about Reed - he came in to a game where he hadn't gotten any/many starting reps in practice and settled in and played well and with confidence.
