No, leading with your helmet at a sliding player, ESPECIALLY A QB, is stupid.
Especially when you can see the QB is sliding and already on the ground. Lesson learned (I hope) the hard way.

Just like with the offense a really good early sign for the defense.. they already have resorted to screens to do anything besides max protect to move the ball. Again just like with their defense that is from a coaching perspective they..."Well hell we can't run it at all we gotta gimmick some yards here" tactic.
