Just finished watching the full GameDay program, had to record it. Overall it was fantastic! A&M as a whole did a wonderful job hosting it, Kyle Field looked glorious!, the Yell Leaders didn't look "weird", and having Johnny & Emmitt there was the icing on the cake. Congrats to the kid winning $50K! What a cool moment for him

The University & ESPN should be very proud of how they portrayed out beloved Alma Mater

I don't think most people would care if they had Islam and Hinduism signs up as long as it was peaceful and respectful. If their signs were touting that Buddha love you, good for them.

It's called free speech. Many Aggies fought and died for those signs to be waving

Let me put it to you this way but maybe you are just an A Hole so you don't care.

You state that Corso is strong enough to take a joke bc he was strong enough to survive a stroke. The thing is everyone knows you would never state that joke in front of him.

Second I noticed you stated my user name later in a response to someone else. Thus it really bothered you I called out your pour taste to you. It's funny that the ones that throw jabs at others have such thin skin as yourself.

Apparently, it's part of an organized effort. ESPN (along with Home Depot) has made a significant investment in Gameday to promote their network programming and college football in general. I assume that there are specific restrictions on signs that promote businesses or politics, and on signs that are obscene. My guess is this obviously coordinated effort to use ESPN's air time to promote something other than college football on ESPN's dime (basically stealing from ESPN) will be met with broader restrictions in the near future, and all signs that are not specifically related to college football will be prohibited.

Well if they follow the rest of the country the " Jesus" signs won't be allowed but all the "woke" flags of any type will be as they know if they don't allow them they will be sued or have massive violent demonstrations. They know the " Jesus" folks won't do that.

This has nothing to do with what is on the signs. It's simply a case where an entitled party is appropriating air time without paying for it. It is theft. ESPN has every right to prevent that theft by imposing broad restrictions. Anytime broad restrictions are imposed anywhere (airports, the Internet, etc.) the rest of us are saddled with inconvenience or delays, all because one person or group thought that rules (written and unwritten) didn't apply to them.

This shouldn't be complicated. It's all Eighth Commandment stuff. Simply don't steal. If people followed that simple rule, no further restrictions would be necessary.
