Trying to go to first game since 2020 LSU, Covid year. I've been overseas the past 4 years.

I'm looking at Notre Dame tickets and just wow. You'd think we won the natty last year.

2013 Auburn, with Johnny (that was a horse collar), I used the bidding app and got first deck, 20th row, 20 YD line for 70 bucks per ticket.

I guess those days are long gone.

Usually, a mid season Jimbo flop would alleviate ticket prices after questionable losses. Ticket prices are Extra crazy high to start this season even on the Ticket Exchange forum!

Notre Dame in Kyle Field is one of those things people just have to see, so of course prices are bonkers.

You can do OK for non-TX conference games, but not $70 on the 1st deck.

Inflation bro.

big game and high demand drives up ticket prices.

printing 2/3 rds of every dollar ever created in the last 10 years or so causes crazy inflation.

get used to it cause it's going to get worse.

If we beat Notre Dame, they'll only go up. If we lose, they might start to drop some.

If it's like the 2001 game, pay up! I was there, the pass back to Farris came right at us where we were sitting.

I used to save all of my tickets. In 1986, tickets to every game were $15. The first $20 ticket at Kyle Field was the 1987 tu game.

$15 in 1986 is $43 today.

Are you really surprised that tickets for a highly anticipated game that everyone wants to go to are expensive?

FOMO wins again.

Fear of not being able to brag to people on IG or at the country club you're going to be at THE sporting event in Texas in 2024.
Fear of not seeing a potential Aggie win over Texas since 2010 or the first one at Kyle since 2007.

What's INSANE is the emotion people invest in "college" sports. The ticket prices are what they are.

Stay patient. I was able to get a ticket from a good Ag for $175 for the Notre Dame game. I assume they'll be cheaper day of but thought it was worth it.

That app, dynamic pricing and no transfer fees were amazing. The powers that be couldn't let that exist very long.

I can understand the high prices for almost all of these games. But Cincinnati at Colorado, seriously?!?

Texas vs Michigan makes the list, but not Ohio St. vs. Michigan?

I have season tickets in the lower Zone armchair seats - not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive/desirable.

The total cost for 7 games comes out very close to $200/seat per game. If you consider that the cupcake games are more like $100 market value (still crazy high for the quality of those match-ups), then the other more desirable SEC match-ups (and Notre Dame game) are avg $275.

I can remember finding tickets in the lower deck for $40-$50 in the early to mid 90's, but that was a long time ago.

I think when the Zone first opened up (maybe 1996 ?) I bought 4 season tickets in lower armchair for about $1600 total for all 4. Now 1 seat is $1350. Almost quadruple.

Maybe nobody sells their tickets to Ohio St vs Michigan since it is the aftermarket that drives the prices.

People are still buying into the Coach Sanders, hype
After this season we can finally put an end to all that though.

Part of the reason tickets for ND is so high is the high demand on the ND side; not just from Aggies. ND fans don't seem to mind spending a lot on football tickets.

The ticket sales are insane because of an extremely high demand from both Notre Dame and Texas A&M fans. Also, ESPN GameDay will be coming to a night game at Kyle Field. For these reasons, the inventory of tickets is extremely limited that the Notre Dame game is not included in the 2024 Gig'Em Pass. My friend and I each bought one Gig' Em Pass for a total of 12 vouchers (6 per pass). We will use 3 vouchers for the Missouri game, 5 for the LSU game, and 4 for the Texas game.

Paid $1K for tickets on TickPick for the LSU game, and all it tells me is that they promise to get me the tickets at least 1 day in advance of the game. Sure hope they actually deliver. Never used that site before.

michigan and ohio st play every year, so fans have been to that one.

texas /michigan is a novelty that fans feels like they may never get to see again.

A buddy of mine from grad school bought through the ND version of TMA - $8-something for 4. He said it's less than what he's paying to FSU in south Bend.

I told him he's likely sitting in the corners of the top deck end zone.

Yes it was great. And you just swiped your credit card at the stadium entrance and tickets were printed on the spot. So great, easy, and convenient.
