These are very rare original photographs. Here is a glimpse of the collection. I'm willing to sell individually, groups, or as an entire collection.

*The Aggie Band photograph has sold*

I have the 1939 Aggie/tulane 1939 national championship cotton bowl program. My grandfather was at the game.

About how much do u figure it's worth?
Spider Monkey

Very cool! My grandfather wasn't at the game, but he was class of 1940. You can send me a private message, and I can discuss the program with you further.

None of mine are for sale, but I do collect random things on vintage Aggie. Sports, core cadets, other weird items.

My Reveille isone of my favorite things. I got her in about 1973 at my first Aggie game. She lost the eyes a long time ago they were replaced with pearl buttons. She didn't really look like reveille as a collie, but it was a mascot doll type thing.

And yes, that is an Earl Campbell sign jersey. I know he was a tsip , but he was my favorite Oiler player of all time. The two helmets are signed by Jack Pardee and John David Crowe.

Are you interested in buying the '39 cotton bowl program?
I don't know that I would sell it.

You just seem like you would have a ball park idea what it is worth.
If it's anything like my old baseball cards, it's not worth nearly what I would like it to be.

He's interested, but he wants to make an offer that he knows the rest of us will ridicule and some of us might beat.

It depends on what condition it is in, but I have seen one sell for $2000.

The key with Aggie stuff is location & timing. Timing is good now because we are still undefeated!

I've been collecting for a few decades. I literally have a PSA graded Sugar Bowl program, and I've purchased another one in the past. $2,000 would require it to be the property of John Kimbrough himself, and possibly a few hundred dollar bills inside the cover. The value on the program has dropped, and it's not selling for when Johnny had every Aggie wanting to buy memorabilia.

I'm not trying to low-ball anyone on here, but I am trying to sell some items from my collection. I could give an offer, but it would have to be at around a 70-80% valuation. The time and effort to have amassed a collection of rare A&M items over the years has not been easy. It takes time, research, and of course money. Considering my grandfather was c/o '40, dad '73, and myself being '09 should help you to understand that I'm not a low-life slime ball trying to turn a buck.
By the way, I teach 120 third grade students, and the summer can be slow.

I have seen one in mint condition sell for $2,000, at a show in Houston during the Johnny Football era. All it takes is one excited Aggie, and of those there are always plenty. Especially in that era.

No one said you were a low life. Congrats on your Aggie bona fides, but at the end of the day you're a flipping collectibles and you're out to get a deal and make a buck. Or else you'd just respond to the guy with a ballpark figure.

$2K was probably overpriced but it was in amazing condition and it's not like there are ton of these laying around. But then again there are baseball cards from that era that can fetch 10x that much and you'd think there are many more of those in existence.
Spider Monkey
How long do you want to ignore this user?
What if I told you that it was valued around $200-$400 depending on the condition. The market is very soft! The last sale was on May 3rd, 2024, but due to it having a few flaws it only sold for $215. The Jump from $215 to $2,000 will have trouble reaching the stratosphere, even with the sharpest of corners, and the brightest of yellows and reds…oh my.

If you witnessed a sale at a show, which I assume is a convention/fundraiser, then you will have items sold for ridiculous amounts, and would be seen as a severe outlier, and would be a very poor investment. If you have a nice maroon coat, and the guys over in the Letterman's lounge enjoy your candor then by all means hit the bid button on the $2,000 program.

I literally bought a 1940 Sugar Bowl program from a guy that was allowing his *MINT* copy to be housed at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, in Waco. We walked up the large A&M section, the curator opened the glass and handed me the program from its prominent position in the display. Don't get me wrong, the museum curator probably wasn't too happy that I was taking it from the museum, but it definitely didn't belong in the same city limits as Baylor. I can provide pictures of the tour, and I'm sure that only a few items ever leave that place. I know how it sounds, but I will find some items to donate if it hurts my rep too much. The Legal Art Heist would be a nice title for the debasement of my character, but I'll let you choose.

By the way, guess what that MINT program cost me? $500, in 2014. Regretfully I sold it years later, and I know I didn't make much of a profit, so I tracked down another one, but this time it didn't involve any museum lighting, and videos playing nearby showing footage of the game, and talking about Jarrin John Kimbrough running people over like a high school kid playing in a pee-wee football game. The Haskell Hurricane, indeed.

I would back this up as well because I also follow this market of Aggie programs and ticket stubs. I do not have spreadsheets on it like others do because my collection is very specific and I do not resell. I saw one program and I believe it's the program he has above get listed twice - once for $300 then knocked down to $200 as it was on eBay for over a month. I couldn't believe it was on there so long either and probably should have bought it but thought someone else should've so I didn't. I have one that I bought in 2020 for $300.

The 1940 tickets are weird as well as I bought one in 2000 for $90 and I have only seen about 6-8, I forget, ranging from $150 to $300 since.

What I am looking for is a 1944 orange bowl ticket and I would pay $300+ or so for it and a 1942 cotton bowl program for $300+.

I have bought things from spider and I think he is rather fair. Somethings I am getting a deal on and somethings are fair to pay a little bit more for because there isn't another one or it fits my collection just right.

Man I would love to have a collectibles tab in Texags.

Edit: thought this would be fun to mention but has little relevance on this discussion - the past year or two I saw a 1906 tu vs A&M program sell for 10k on eBay - I talked to the owner of it and she said it sold to a collector in Houston.

I do not have ticket/stubs from that game.
And I didn't think spider was trying to give me an unfair deal.

I like the program so I doubt I'd sell it anyway.
It's kinda like my old baseball cards…my childhood memories are worth more than what I could sell them for.

I did see a 1911 (I think) A&M ticket stub (maybe vs Texas?) AND signed by Dana X Bible, and I want to say it went for something like $4k or $6k….pretty wild
